This charming two piece set would be the absolute perfect back to school look for the discerning 8 yr old! Made from a selection of thrifted linens and prints from my dear friend Sarah of Brim Shoppe, and based on a 1970s vintage pattern, this structured top and coordinated shirt is an absolute dream! The shirt can be worn on its own, or open over a tank top, simple dress or turtleneck and the shirt is slightly a-line with an elasticated waistband and zipper closure at the back. Who wouldn't want to rock up to the first day of school in this?!
