The Shackleton is back! The same shape as the earflap cap you all know and love, but with a cozy cotton sherpa lined neck/scarf panel, for those who eschew the idea of a snood. This cozy piece of winter headwear, akin to a balaclava, has a straight out brim that will keep snow out of your eyes, and the neck of your snowsuit. This year the Shackleton is offered with 3 different lining options.
1-Standard option includes flannel lined bucket and cotton Sherpa fabric lined scarf.
2-PUL (think pocket cloth diaper cover) - a breathable, waterproof, machine washable, and dryer safe mid layer, with flannel lined bucket and cotton Sherpa fabric lined scarf
3-organic cotton fleece lined bucket and cotton Sherpa fabric lined scarf
And as ever, this cap is also available with a silk lining in lieu of flannel if you have natural or textured hair, again, just pop that in the comments section of your order. The fit of this cap is similar to the brimmed cap but a bit more relaxed because of the extra layers of fabric. If you have any questions about sizing please don’t hesitate to reach out either before, or after ordering (you always have up to 48 hours to confirm or amend sizing details).
This hat is not currently offered in a full range of adult sizes, but they will be added ASAP.

- Baby (46 - 49 cm)
- Kid (49 - 53 cm)
- Small (53 - 56 cm)
- O/S (56-59 cm)

We love our hat. I requested one similar to one posted on Instagram that I fell in love with, and they delivered. It’s a beautiful item, keeps my son warm and will last at least 2 seasons with the elasticized back. We’ve already made use of the brim on sunny days, not something I think of with winter wear. Delivery was quick, communication excellent.
